Bathroom remodeling in Nelson County
Lovingston, Nellysford, Afton and up toward Wintergreen — a full gut-and-rebuild or a clean refresh: tile, tubs, showers, vanities, and the plumbing behind all of it. One crew, a written estimate before we start, and the same people from demolition to the last bead of caulk.
Nelson County means mountain homes and weekend places — and mountain humidity works bathrooms hard. Ventilation and waterproofing matter more here than almost anywhere we work.

What a bathroom project can include
- Tile showers and tub surrounds in subway, stone-look or pebble tile
- Walk-in showers with tiled niches, corner seats, dual shower heads and grab bars
- Steam showers and glass shower doors
- Vanities, sinks, faucets, toilets, mirrors and lighting
- Tile floors, including river pebble and penny tile
- The plumbing behind it, from rough-in to fixture swaps
- Drywall and paint to finish the room properly
The part you cannot see
Most shower problems start behind the tile, not in front of it. We build showers on a waterproof backer and a waterproofing membrane before the first tile goes up, so the finished job is still tight years later. Ask to see it while we work; we are happy to show you.

How we run every job
The worst part of hiring a contractor usually is not the work. It is the silence. We built the way we run jobs around fixing that.
A written estimate before we start
Line by line, so you know what you are paying for.
We show up on the day we said
And we call you if anything changes.
The same people, start to finish
No revolving door of subs you have never met.
Cleaned up every day
We clean up before we leave, so your home still feels like home while we work.
Every change in writing
If the scope shifts, it goes through a change order before we do the work, so there are no surprise charges at the end.
“We called Noble Services for our complete bathroom remodel that included a steam shower. Tim contacted us and scheduled his initial visit in short order. Along the way, he helped ensure the job was done correctly, including some items we never would have thought of to address. Tim is honest, professional, detail oriented, and fair priced and we would highly recommend.”

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?
It depends on the size of the room, the materials you choose, how much plumbing has to move, and what is behind the walls once we open them up. We look at the space with you and give you a written estimate, line by line, before we start. If the scope changes partway through, it goes through a written change order first.
How long will it take?
A refresh and a full gut-and-rebuild are very different projects, so it depends on scope. We talk through the timeline when we look at the space, and we call you if anything changes along the way.
Do you handle the plumbing and electrical too?
Yes. The plumbing behind a bathroom and the lighting, circuits and fans that go with it are part of what we do, so you are not coordinating several contractors.
Can we still live in the house during the work?
Yes. We clean up every day before we leave, so your home still feels like home while we work.
Where do you work?
We are based in Albemarle County and work in Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Fluvanna County, Greene County, Nelson County and Louisa County.
